Rings Extended

Hi
I've recently bought a HTC Hero and am having problems getting Rings Extended to work. I am aware that it doesn't have an icon assiciated with it. I found a Youtube guide and have followed it as far as 'Notification Sound', however I don't get the option to chose Android or Rings Extended.
Any suggestions.

I use this on my Moto Droid.... i have not had any troubles, have you tried removing it then re-installing?
 
You go into the phone settings then go to sound and display, then when you select to change your ring tone, you will be given the option to use Rings Extended to the default interface.


If that doesn't work, than maybe it's not compatible with hero.
