Help Ringtone, notification sound & calendar reminder keep changing

Hi guys... This is weird..

Had the dog for about 6+ months now, love it. Runs stock, 2.2.1. I have different ringtones for 'phone ringing, gmail notification & calendar alarm...


In last week or so these have changed a couple of times for no apparent reason (nope, it wasn't me!!): Easily reset... . I'd downloaded Skype & wondered if that was doing something so uninstalled it. Just happened again..

Any ideas?? Irritating but mildy worrying...

Mines done that before, I think it's down to them being on the SD card and the phone losing access to them when it's mounted. As it doesn't happen every time it's mounted, there has to be a secondary factor involved. Just don't know what yet.

Any solution to this problem? My htc Evo shift just started doing the same thing. I'll set an alarm sound, and the next time I check, it has changed. It seems to be picking random songs from my music player and loading them as alarm sounds!
