Ringtone

If you can save the sound file to your phone and it's in a format like .mp3 or .oog that the phone can play, then simply put the file in /sdcard/media/ringtones and you will be able to assign it as a ringtone.

Or, you could use an app like Zedge which will give you access to a lot of different ringtones beyond what comes with your phone.

Gotta say . I used to be one of those people who would use an app to trim down a music track and make a ringtone ....

Now .. i use zedge

I haven't had volume turned on in years, lol. I don't even set them anymore :)

(also, this thread ripe for a move into a better forum)

You mean all the mod responses weren't pure poetry?

Anyway, moved to the Android Lounge where this topic should get better traction.

Poetry in motion! lol

I will say, my '15 has an option to use phone ring tone through car. So I went into phone and set ring tone for first time in years. Now I hear Imperial March in car when a call comes in, lol
(my last car, a '16, didn't do this)

Last ring tone, I heard when my phone somehow was on the JBL speaker, was the one I downloaded many moons ago. But its mostly kept quiet, how odd it was doomed dance on the Social Secuirty.

Wife had her ringtone turned on the other day and I about jumped out of my skin. Same one she used 5 years ago, and probably been that long since I heard it.
