Ringtones from previous droid music

Just bought a Droid RAZR Maxx HD from Best Buy yesterday. An upgrade from my Incredible 2. Setting up this phone reminds me of how untechnical savy I am. Have had a few issues and have been able to plow right thru them (some with help).

Issues yesterday... could not get the bluetooth headset to communicate with the phone and was having mobile hot spot issues. Called Verizon technical support (don't judge me) and they were very helpful and got everything resolved.

Issues today... I have a gmail account and couldn't figure out why my mail was so slow in syncing up with my laptop. Found out (on my own) that I set up the wrong email yesterday. I removed it, and and found the gmail app and low and behold, there was all my email and getting delivered to me in a timely manner.

So now one more thing. A simple question and I hope someone will provide a simple answer. I have all my downloaded ringtone music on an sd card that was taken from the Incredible 2 and put in the new phone. I cannot figure out how to transfer the songs from "Play Music" app (that's where I found them) to the ringtone list. Can anyone help me on that? I think I've gotten everything else covered. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Tim

Thanks a lot. That was very helpful. After making it more difficult than it should have been (some more of that untechnically savy stuff), I was able to find all my songs (they were scattered all over the place on the SD card... not sure how that happened) and I copied and pasted them to the Ringtones folder in the Internal Storage.

I now have all my ringtones from my Incredible 2 onto my RAZR HD and know how to download more if I want more. Another thing to check off the list. Thanks again.
