Download the Astro file manager. Then when you've booted it, keep clicking the folder up icon until you can't go any further.
You should be able to explore the contents of the internal memory and there should be a media folder somewhere. When you find the media folder, there should be a ringtones folder within that. Go into that, click and hold on the file you want rid of and you will get the option to delete it.
