Roaming with the Samsung S4

[Android Question]

Hi Im taking my SAMSUNG S4 on the telstra network to indonesia for a couple of days. I am concered that if my MOBILE DATA connects I could be up for an extremely large bill. Is thier anyway to lock the data capability so that it would require a password or atleast more functions to enable? I still want to be able to make phone calls and use WIFI but NO mobile data. Is this possible?

You just need to make sure that Data Roaming is not ticked / turned on.

Not quite sure where you find that on an S4, I'm afraid but it'll be somewhere in Settings under something like Mobile Network Settings.

If you decide you need to use data, simply turn this on - personally, I try to stick to free WiFi when I'm travelling.
