Rock Player doesn't show 'subtilte'

Hi. I am frustrated by a problem with Rock Player. It doesn't show my videos' subtitle. Actually, it tries, because while playing a video, there is a text in the bottom of the video, but it just say: "subtilte" and that's it.
My video files are in my internal memory and I use Galaxy S.
Please let's sort this our quickly :)

Touched every place :) I couldn't find any track options. Just clueless.

They say there are some versions of it. I downloaded from the market, so I couldn't choose it. Maybe that's it? I'll try that.

You mean I should buy it to see the subtitles?
Well, this is not a wise decision as I wouldn't buy it before I could see the subtitles. This is why there is a trial of it, right?

RockPlayer Universal is free und should do subtitles.
You pay only for disappearance of ad and logo on video.

But I can't try it with the free version, I have it bought :)

Lucky you. I tried to uninstall and install but nothing changed.
Any other person who didn't buy the application and can try that? (Harry, why did you buy it, didn't you know I might face problems?:) )

I did a quick search in the forum with 'rockplayer subtitles' and had 9 hits (+ yours :)).
One thread says the Galaxy can do subtitles with the stock player.
Are you sure your video is ok?
EDIT: ... what I mean:
Make sure the SRT (subtitle) file is named exactly the same as the video file AND it is in the same location.

Thanks for researching for me!
I tried with the stock player, and no, it doesn't show subtitles.
And yes, my video and subtitle have the same name. Actually, I tried it with VPlayer Beta, and it shows.
But with VPlayer, I have another problem! I can't play last 5 minutes of the video. The videos (I mean episodes of Dexter, I love him killing :) ) are 50-55 minutes long.

Maybe you could try the competitors of RockPlayer, too.
yxPlayer and arcPlayer.
But I haven't used them yet :)

Harry

What the f..k, I'll give them a go. I'll let you know, Harry.
Meanwhile, is Harry2 means you are version 2 of an Harry? :)
Thank you, man.

I deleted my message by mistake while I was trying to edit it :)
I was thanking you and telling that people say yxplayer isn't so good and with arcPlayer, I assume that you were talking about arcMedia?

Edit: It seems I didn't delete it, but you know what I meant now :D

Sorry, a "slip of the pen" :). Yes, arcMedia is right.

Harry (maybe I registered as second Harry in the forum :) )

arcMedia doesn't seem to be supporting Turkish subtitles. I think I'll get better on English listening skills and start to learn some Spanish and some French. I am hating subtitles right now!
It seems easy to learn all the languages so that I don't need any subtitles.

Just make a same title for the movie and for a subtitle.......exp:Saw 3.avi and Saw 3.srt and it shoud work.

hey to solve ur problem try n conveRT SUBTITLE to UTF-8 format...
after lots of googling, i hve found dis tutorial...hope it helps u
How to add srt file to video clips using Any Video Converter or Any DVD Converter

I gave up on Rock Player. My favourite player mVideoPlayer and the other player I have vPlayer do the job. But thank you.
Apart from my old problem, converting subtitle to UTF-8 seems to change some letters of Turkish alphabet. I didn't try, but are you sure that I can have ş,
