Help Rogers Magic on AT&T no data

I got a Rogers HTC Magic and unlocked it for use with my AT&T SIM card. All of that went well, and I can use the phone to make call and can connect for data via WiFi, but cannot get any over-the-air data connection. I have an unlimited media net subscription. I get a 3g connection on my Samsung Eternity at my house, but nothing on the Magic. Any suggestions?

Check your apn.

I agree, you probably need to set up your APN settings, check out this link and either edit or create a new APN on your phone with the settings on the page. Those settings are working fine for me so far and I'm using an unlocked Rogers Magic on AT&T with a stock ROM. Anyways here is the link:

Do you get 3G access with that setup? I thought you could only get EDGE due to a frequency difference?

Rogers Magic has the same frequency as AT&T so it works in 3G as well.

I've been getting both Edge and 3G fine with my unlocked Rogers Magic on AT&T.
