Roll back googoo

I'm trying to put this new Samsung A20s(?) on a diet. I'm looking for things I can remove, shut down, etc. When I checked out that googoo stuff I wasn't surprised that it's not removable, but at least it can be rolled back to an earlier, presumably less bloaty, version. I hesitate only because it means data removal, although it's probably nothing important. Also, I've noticed a lot of things such as Outlook, which I believe are Microsoft. Do I need any of these or should I delete or otherwise incapacitate them?

If you aren't using the Microsoft apps you can certainly remove them.

For the Google stuff I'd apply the same rule as with the Microsoft stuff: do you use it? So for example I don't buy media from Google so I remove their Games, Books, TV etc apps. I don't use the GMail app so I disable that. I don't use search widgets, voice search or Assistant so I will uninstall updates to the Google app, clear its data and disable it (as I cannot simply uninstall it). But if you use any Google service at all, including your phone's location service (which most apps that use location will rely on) or the Play Store, you should leave Google Play Services alone (though I do deny it a couple of permissions which I do not think it needs for anything I use).

Yeh, Microsoft has a partnership $$$ with Samsung. If you're not using their apps, suggest you remove them.

I have a Samsung phone myself, so I kept Onedrive and Outlook. as I use those apps and services.
