Another user, Zebulon, got me to try the Energy JB Rom. It can be found in the TF201 Developer section of XDA Forums.
Wow....this is a VERY fast Rom.
Very stable so far. Lots of nice little tweaks to boot sequence, parts of the UI, task bar.....and a very nice shutdown screen with options to Reboot or Reboot into Recovery! The latter works fine with TWRP recovery.
