No Black Gapps!
I will be making a black gapps installer for you guys, just give me sometime

Setting up WiFi tether:
Device Profile: Generic ice/jb wlano
Setup method: Auto
Send netd max client cmd: checked
WiFi driver reload: checked
WiFi driver reload 2: no check
Routing fix: checked

Also make sure your keep WiFi on during sleep is set to never: settings/WiFi/menu/advanced/keep WiFi on

You can also turn off auto WiFi on/connection manager:
Settings/more/mobile networks/connection optimizer

Setting up Xposed module:
Open closed installer and press install/update then soft reboot.
Go back to exposed installer and press modules, and place a check on each box, then soft reboot.
Go to closed apps and make you modifications then reboot for your settings to stick.

How to install Viper:
Open viper fx and xhifi and choose CortexAx with NEON
The other settings are up to you. For more info check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223

How to flash kRom:
Download the ROM from the link: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_DNsulDtL2_U0gzWDFSckVYU3c&export=download
Place the ROM on your sdcard. Boot into clockwork mod recovery. Wipe cache partition, dalvik cache, wipe factory data reset.
Then choose install zip from external sdcard and navigate to where you placed the ROM(note: if you download the ROM to your phone, then chances are you will have to look in internal storage)
After flashing is complete reboot to system, if recovery ask about keeping cmw or it goes to that menu (no, no, no, yes, no)before rebooting, click no.
Done!
Let phone boot and enjoy
kRom v.5 beta

I would like to thank, VordVincent90, Zenwafer, sckboy78, AlexRayquaza for there helping hand, and hard work, thanks guys
I know we can make this ROM great, we got an all-star team :D

I swap the ROM's folders with the system's, and when I zip It up, it's 8 hundred and something mb, and when I flashed it I have no system space

Party time jbs with the crash the party fix left me with only 12 MBS of /system space but its not like I really use that space since I already have all my root required apps installed and such.
Party time jbs-at least 810 mbs
Crash the party-26 mbs

That about sums up the problem, what I'm not getting is:
Why is the ROM 836mb when repackaged, but the original ROM is about 500mb

i assure you that you do not have gigabytes of space on /system. internal storage isnt the same as /system, they are completely separate partitions and clearing up bloat and otehr stuff off /system does not give you more space for apps/pics etc.

a common "waste" of space is symbolic links they tend to make exact copies of the original file in terms of size.

Darn school.
Haven't been able to test yet.
Does this has Google now?
Or just regular voice search.
I didn't really use s voice, didn't find it necessary because Google knows best.

I'm still having issues with the dialer force closing... :/

try wiping data/factory reset, wipe cache, and clear dalvik cache, after flashing

i have been testing this forr the last couple of days, and i got one process acore android has stopped working, but has no side effect as of yet

other then that message, everything works

that is the only problem with this, and it will need to be freshly installed

but it's a Port, in beta, and will be updated,

just waiting to see what others think before i do anything

thank's 4 the feedback

and the link is fixed

Ok well I've already tried that and for now I'm back on Stock rooted, havin fun pickin that apart by uninstalling system apps that I don't need/use, already installed animania's 1.4 ghz OC kernel and touching up a few other things, but at least I don't have the fake voicemail icon in my status bar and my dialer is working properly, but lemme know after you've fixed some things and I'll be glad to test it for ya... :)

which version are you having problems with, Light or Dark?

I tried both but I like the dark cause it looks more like ics but both versions have the force closing issues with the dialer...

what force close? how are or what are you doing to have this happen

Is anybody else having this problem???

That is weird because I flashing them but I only get one force close and that's for the weather on the lock screen, because I took out the weather widget, so it will force close if you try to open it from settings

Strange how much trouble you're having, Slayer... I've been running the Dark version all day & haven't had any voicemail notification problem or force close on dialer.

As I'm finding this ROM more solid as I use it, I took the liberty of changing the notification fix to my own text as well as blue-ing the wifi & phone signals so they aren't so stoopid grey all the damn time anymore and resized the battery for good flow.

There was an issue I ran into when trying to update Youtube. I did the old uninstall, clear dalvik, reinstall dance with a side of Playstore data clearing but to no avail.

2013-04-19124647.png

So I just ignore it and all's well

I haven't messed with the Settings.apk from this ROM quite yet, just the SystemUI and even that was done live with Ninjamorph

K Rize - Want my SystemUI.apk for integration?

Slayer - Check pm if you haven't by now lol :smokingsomb:

the google apps that are themed will fail to update.
there are two other crashes, fisrt is the process acore and the other, is the weather widget for the lockcsreen
sure, thank's, it helps. also if it's possible, because i have sooooo much on my plate right now, fixing these roms and working on a new one. can you theme that SystemUI to look like the stock one for my sgs4 themed rom

Dialer crash won't be fixed until I figure out the cause, it does not effect any calls,
Weather on lock screen will be fixed
Kernel will be updated to b2

I've recently install the dark version of this rom on my phone and, I'm having the same problem as Slayer72. the error says (Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.) I did as you suggested and tried wiping data/factory reset, wipe cache, and clear dalvik cache, after flashing but, it started having the same problem again. I'd also like to point out this happened only once or twice before I installed the notification fix but, after I installed that it seems to happen more frequently. Other than that this rom runs really smooth. I hope this helps.

Thank you!

Its really hard to resolve issues with out a logcat. Download a logcat app from the play store or adb it, run it and then go to dialer and make it force close then grab the logcat and post the result.

This ROM works fantastic.
No issues.
Now i have 80+ mbs in my /system
That's theming space right there
Also that free space motivated me to do some cleaning of my own.
I freed 500mbs from my SD card and 4.5 gbs on my external SD.
Now I feel free! Now to install backtrack on my phone :P

Here's the logcat, I really hope this helps! I used adb to get this, it just seemed liked an easier way to copy and past it. I'm not a programmer so, I didn't know exactly how much of it you needed. I just copied what I thought would be enough. I really hope this helps. And with the help of Mavrikmeercat, I removed a couple of system files and, reformatted the cache, system, etc.. in CWM then re-installed the the rom again followed by the notification fix,[Themes][Mod]RayquazasModAlpha, and [Mod] SystemUI (Themed Notification Shade) the green version. So far everything is working great! And thank you for such a wonderful rom and all your hard work!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it, unfortunately I will only be doing one update to these ROMs to get them a little more stable, depending on the release of the new OS .

The reason for this is because boost Mobile will be releasing jellybean OS for the Galaxy Rush as well as other devices soon. I have checked the site

Samsung Galaxy Rush Android Smartphone | Boost Mobile

So it doesn't make since to stay behind when everyone's get jb. I may convert them into jelly ROMs tho

So stay tuned
