rom manager / titanium backup

been trying to update my rom manager from v2.5.1.8 to the latest version for almost 1 month now. every time i update nothing happens then when i cancel update it will give me a message app error force close. same thing with titanium back up. all other apps are updating properly except these 2. was thinking might be some error from market but after almost a month of trying its kinda weird. any ideas how i can update those 2 apps? thanks.

Are they built into the custom rom you're using? Had problems with that once as they are built into LeeDroid. Worked after a while although I don't know why

Try the Holy Trinity of fixing apps.

1. FC the app.
2. Clear the cache
3. Uninstall and re-install

If none of these work, chalk the app up as junk and move on.

If you have root access (I assume you do with the 2 programs mentioned) do a search for all instances of the program in root explorer and delete them. Then try reinstalling. That has worked for me in the past.
