Root (Rom)(Port)CM7 for Ideos

im going to try to port the cm7 for ideos for our m835. i might doing this during the weekend. and i might need A lot of help as i have no experiance. im also going to need testers.
 
i could help but your porting android 2.2.2 to 2.3.7 or your going to port cm7 by PG to cm7 by aorth for ideos or cm7 by pg for ascend . i t think the ascend would be better but i'll miss multitouch unless you keep aorth's kernel ?

thats perfect now that i think of it . just one question ... could you post an link to the ascend rom so i could read the build.prop to see what were working with lol.
 
NOOOOOOOOOOO. did i have to?. I'll PM you the link once its upload it. and you can edit whatever i didnt do right?
 
no if you did edit the boot.img like the guide you showed me than i would have been scared of flashing its cool .
 
the guide didnt say anything about editing the boot.img. i left that alone. and i think the boot.img is from ascend. the ascend was my base and i just edited that and the edited base the final rom
 
its cool i must have been lookin at something else just try again ... and just switch thr framwork.apk and edit build.prop
 
I couldn't fond those folders I was telling you about. and the icsideos didn't let me make or receive calls and I didn't test mms on it though
 
I got icsieos running no problem. . But dis is not ics. It's just cm7.2. And the developer went and edited build prop. To make it say. 4.0.4 ICS
