Root ROMs?

Hi all, I finally ordered my Maxx tonight (should have ponied up the few bucks for next day shipping) but I see there is not a lot of developer/ROM talk with this phone. With my DINC and GNex I was flashing ROMs on a weekly basis. Am I missing something? Are you guys rooting and romming or can this not be done with the Maxx?

Welcome to Android Forums. I moved your thread to the sub-forum where root-related questions about the Maxx are discussed.

Nope, not missing anything. Maxx hasn't any new roms just yet. New file system introduced is slowing things down.

I've seen a PACman rom over at xda.

I really don't miss flashing ROMS all the time like I did on my gnex. I'm telling you, xposed framework is an amazing thing. GravityBox lets me customize many things I was wanting in a custom rom.

Favorite customizations:

Ringer and notification volume is linked. Now when you turn your Ringer down the notification volume also goes down. (wondered why the latest moto update didn't fix this).

Quick tile customization let's me add and remove most of the tiles. I can reorder them as well. Nice for having a hot spot, torch, and auto rotate easy to access.

Full screen contact photos for caller ID.

Addition of ram usage in recent apps launcher.

What is GravityBox? Do you have to be rooted?

GravityBox is a module for xposed framework. You must be rooted.

It's the coolest thing I've ever encountered on a phone. No more crack flashing or backing up and rearranging...
