I have searched every where for instructions that can tell me how to root my HTC evo 4g using a mac. I have gotten close a couple of times but I always get stuck when they say to enter my unlock key into terminal. It just says "No Such File Exists" what do I do?

This sounds to me like you aren't in the right directory, or don't have fastboot-mac in your $PATH. It can't find the fastboot program.

Try changing directory to the one you installed fastboot-mac into. Then type

./fastboot-mac devices

If that returns the serial number of your phone then everything is working and you can issue the unlock command.

(I'm assuming here that you kept the file name as fastboot-mac. Personally I renamed it to fastboot, just so that my commands would be the same as Windows or Linux users).
