There are quite a few forum posts, blog postings and other info on adding self-signed certificates and similar to Android phones. I've tried them all, I've tried variations of them, etc...
https://ssltest13.bbtest.net/
That's a test page for a GeoTrust signed cert using a new 2048-bit key they just began using. Details here.
The "GeoTrust DV SSL CA" cert is included in Firefox and many other desktop browsers. It apparently is not included in Android 2.2 however.
So, how the heck do I get it installed?
I've taken the keys on that bbtest.net page both separately and together and placed into a "geotrust.crt" file and placed on the SD card and Settings->Location and Security->Install from SD card and gotten a confirmation "certificate installed". Yet, surfing to the test site continues to pop up cert warnings. I've tried this.
Some of the articles I've researched are here, here, here, here, here and here None have really helped so far.
Suggestions?
