1) Download and install Mobogenie
2) Download Android SDK
3) Extract the Android SDK, and run SDK Manager.exe
4) Add a check mark for "Android SDK Platform-tools" in the "Tools" Folder, scroll down, and add a check mark for "Google USB Driver" in the "Extras" folder.

5) Click install
6) Navigate to where you extracted the Android SDK, and \sdk\platform-tools.
7) Make sure you don't have any file selected, then hold down Shift and right click anywhere (not on a file or folder), then select "Open command window here"

8) Go to system settings -> About phone, and tap Build number 10 or so times, until it says you are developer.
9) Go to system settings -> developer options, and enable USB debugging.
10) Connect your phone to pc via usb cable.
11) Go to system settings -> storage -> tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner -> USB computer connection, select Connect as: Media device (MTP)
12) On PC, write in the black window: "adb devices", without the quotes.
13) If you see "list of devices attached" and a random string of letters and numbers like in the picture, skip to step 15, otherwise continue to 14.

14) On pc open Device manager. In the list, your phone will have a yellow exclamation mark. Right click it, update driver software, browse my computer for driver software, click browse, then navigate to whereyouputit\sdk\extras\google\usb_driver, then click next. After installation is successful, go back to step 12.
15) Open mobogenie. It will automatically connect to your phone. Wait 10 seconds for the small window to close.
16) Go to "My Phone", then "1 click root".

17) Go to Google Play, and install "SuperSU". At first I tested another, and it DID NOT work. I can only guarantee that "SuperSU" will work (at least it does on my phone).
18) Go to Google Play, and install BusyBox by Stephen (Stericson), following the given instructions.
19) After reboot, your phone is properly rooted and set up, congratulations.

20) (Optional) You can uninstall mobogenie from both PC and phone, it can be very annoying with all the pop-ups on pc, and resource demanding on phone.
