Root Root has finally been gained!

Good news, the Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2 has finally been rooted. Now, all that is needed is CM12 or some other ROM that can run Lollipop and this phone can get lots of love from developers. If you want to see the thread that has the rooting method or if you're not sure, go here and ask some questions (newcomers)

Attached is proof that I have rooted my phone. The easiest method can be very frustrating, but guaranteed it works, and it's permanent. (The screenshot was from yesterday btw) There is another method, however it is recommended for advanced users and you risk the possibility of damaging your phone that way. Good day to you all. I just came to bring the good news of this phone being rooted, which is newer from Alcatel, so you know it was heavily encrypted.

You know you can get almost any of that you want with launchers

True but launchers do not change the status bar drop down or the settings screen.
