Root Root LG Volt II

Hey!
Some people were bricking there devices so let me clarify my tutorial. If you did brick it (by rooting) follow this.


WARNING: I'm not responsible for your phone if you do brick it. I will however, do everything I can to help you revive it.
TESTED ON LATEST: ZV9 UPDATE (2017, November)

NOTICE: SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO ENABLE USB DEBUGGING AND CHECK ENABLE OEM UNLOCK BEFORE DOING THIS.
I didn't. And it worked for me for the 6 times I did it.

Download LG Drivers
WINDOWS PC

1) Extract the LG_Root to your desktop, and open a cmd prompt in that folder.
2) Power off your phone. Hold the volume up button and plug it into your computer.
3) In the cmd type: ports.bat
3b) Look for the com port after LGVZANDNETDIAG1
Should say COM#
4) run the commands:
Push_File.exe \\.\COM# busybox /tmp/busybox
[ENTER]
Push_File.exe \\.\COM# lg_root.sh /tmp/lg_root.sh
[ENTER]
Push_File.exe \\.\COM#
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip /tmp/
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
[ENTER]
Send_Command.exe \\.\COM#

5)AT this point you have a full access root terminal to your phone. We want root ON the phone now. Run the commands.

ls /tmp/
[ENTER, SHOULD SAY FAIL]
ls /tmp/
[ENTER, SHOULD SEE THE FILES YOU PUSHED]
sh /tmp/lg_root.sh dummy 1 /tmp/
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip /tmp/busybox
[ENTER, SHOULD BE INSTALLING ROOT]
LEAVE
[ENTER]

6)Unplug your phone, watch it reboot into a rooted device.
