Root my phone?

Hi I have a low budget LG Leon. I am thinking of rooting it just to get rid of the T-Mobil juck apps, the are just there to take up precious memory. But before I root it, I just want to make sure thing lika Andriod Studio will still be working? I also heard of an apk called KingoRoot, is it safe to use? Thanks.

Unless Android Studio states that it won't work on rooted phone, I don't see why it wouldn't work after your phone is rooted.

However most of apps for banking and payment would stop working for obvious reasons.
