Root or chmod?

EEEEE

Lurker
I'm trying to run Dsploit on my android tablet, Dsploit keeps saying that my device needs to be rooted. I don't like that idea since i dont know what android rooting actually means, that's why i'm searching for alternatives. Lately i've downloaded a terminal simulator and it supports chmod. I thought about chmoding Dsploit files to 777 instead of rooting the device. What do you think will this work ?
Thanks in advance.

Absolutely not.

Root is the name of the superuser (admin) account on any *nix (therefore Linux therefore Android) and rooting is the act of getting access to that.

Both dDploit and dSploit Scripts list root as a requirement, there's no third way. Btw, dSploit has been deprecated and replaced with zANTI12.
