There's more to root than just the superuser app. That's just the gatekeeper which lets you control which apps can use superuser privileges, it's the presence of the superuser binary that's also needed. So when you "unrooted" what actually did you do, because not knowing that it's hard to suggest a solution or even know whether a solution is needed?
All that said, rooting should not interfere with the Play Store anyway, so there's something funny there. As rooting is device-specific I'd generally suggest you look in our Huawei G6 forum, but that doesn't seem to be a very active place at the moment.
