Could I get a link or advice on how I can root a Asus ZenFone 2 (2gb) and install Cyanogenmod or other ROMs on it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks man... But I heard after rooting, it's hard to get cyanogenmod on the zenfone 2 because of its Intel cpu. Is it true? I have not yet bought it, after I buy a phone I plan to install cyanogenmod on it.
ROMs are always device-specific, regardless of the processor, but I can believe that the processor may be a factor. So I'd suggest searching (e.g. at XDA-developers) to see what the ROM support for the device is like before buying. Note that CM is just the best-known custom ROM, and for many devices there are many others. But some devices have very little rom support so it's always worth doing a little checking if that interests you.
