Root request

Hi

I am in the UK and have just got an evo 3d and would like to root it. The Hboot is 1.49.0011. version is 2.3.4 other information shooter_u pvt ship s-on rl

Clearly as you will have noticed i have never rooted a phone and dont really know what the above means


can someone please help. the phone is sim unlocked but i am currently using t-mobile sim dont know if this is important

Hi DURX - thanks for the information. I have read the guide but not having ever done a rooting was hoping for a step by step guide.
what information i should note down before starting where to find the information on my phone
what to download and steps to do the rooting etc.

I do not have experience with the Evo 3D... there are several guides in EVO 3D - All Things Root - Android Forums and, if you feel that you aren't sure, the people in that sub-forum will be able to offer help... I say this as the rooting process for each device is slightly different!
