Root?

Hey I'm new to rooting. Seen a bunch of old posts about rooting the ZTE Zmax 2.. tried a couple different suggestions with KingRoot.. Does anyone know of a way to root that 100% works? Thanks

The best root for zte zmax 2 is wait and cross your fingers.

I got partial root using kingo root,pc edition.Give it a try!! I have boost max plus,but I think they are similar.

The tool which worked for me was kingo root pc edition but ONLY under windows 7!! on windows 10 did not work.
the bad: is only temporal root since the boot loader is locked.
when you reboot the phone, all goes pumpkin...

Enable USB debugging

Get adb (most know how)

Type in this command through adb: adb reboot disemmcwp

Now use the PC version of Kingo Root

After that there are methods out there for replacing kinguser with suoersu (if you choose to do this be careful it may brick your phone) otherwise keep kinguser.
