Rooted But Can't Mount /system as rw

Lurker
Hello,
I have successfully rooted my phone and was able to once mount /system as rw (right after unlocking bootloader) but i think some software on my phone recognized i was rooted and locked /system to ro. Anyone have any tips?
My phone is Huawei P8 lite
I have tried:
TONS AND TONS of commands through adb terminal as su and all of them give me one of two responses: invalid argument or permission denied
using one click /system rw mount apps
using root explorer and other similar apps to mount /system to rw.

The first time it worked was right after unlocking boot loader i was able to use Root Explorer to set as RW.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Is there a system app that i can uninstall using bloatware remover to fix this?
-Thanks in advance
