Root Rooted Droid4 - ICS Options

I rooted my stock verizon droid4. What happens if I install the forthcoming ICS update from Verizon? Is my phone still rooted? Will I need to redo any of the settings that I changed?

Generally speaking, any OTA update will break root and this is especially true for anything coming from Verizon. You will need to reroot, but usually it will require a different method than the one you previously used.

i like root, that i can change notification bar items etc and delete junk off the phone.
il say this.
i would like to see ICS on someones D4 and fiddle with it before i upgraded...or sidegraded..
