ASC I'm Shy Oct 1, 2011 #3 Also, My girlfriend was having problems with the Marketplace when she had "Background Data" unchecked on her MyTouch 4G. On my Droid X you get there: Settings --> Battery & Data Manager --> Data Delivery --> make sure "Background Data" is checked.
