Root Rooted. What now?

So I finally rooted my little Merc. My question at this point is what to do now? I removed a couple of the "bloatware" programs. This includes: The two garbage games, storefront, streams (I still can't figure out how to remove the stock Twitter app), and a couple other things. Does anyone have any idea what this new "Auto Test" thing does? Can I get rid of it? What other "Bloat" is safe to take out of this little guy? Also, can I overclock it? It already gets hot without. Any other must have rooted apps? Other than removing the bloat I haven't rally figured out why I just rooted it. I'm keeping a couple stock apps, like: My account (I rarely use it but who knows if I'll need it), My backup and All Backup, (again, who knows?), I kept a few others too cuz they are handy. Anyone know how to get rid of "Cricket 411"? Any "post root" advice is appreciated. I know a lot of cats are thinking "you rooted the phone, figure out how to optimize it your damned self!" but I'm just good at following instructions and every time I do anything "non-standard" to my phone I am on the brink of having a heart attack.

I haven't gotten around to rooting my Mercury yet, but I did some tinkering when I was using my Ascend. Some cool apps to have for a rooted phone are Ad Free Android (block those pesky ads), Droid Wall (block any apps that don't absolutely need internet access from using your data connection, saves data and battery), Titanium Backup ( backs up all your apps and does some other cool stuff), use an app like Shoot Me or Screenshot It to take screenshots of your phone. You won't be able to overclock until/unless somebody makes a custom kernel, but you can flash a custom recovery and whatever custom ROMs that might eventually come along. Right now I think there's only a modded stock ROM available, though. The bloatware you can't find you'll probably need an app like Root Explorer to get to. I just put all the apps I don't want in a folder I named "crap" and forgot about them lol. (using Go Launcher ex)

Thanks for the input guys! I new I was forgetting a few. Gotta have Addfreeandroid. The guys over at cricketusers have made flashing cwm and rooting simple as heck. It was almost as easy as the z4root I did on my ascend. I would definitely check it out if you are thinking about rooting. Now if only someone could make some decent roms...
