Root rooting a samsung exhibit 2 4g with a mac?

I've searched a bunch of the threads and am not having any luck finding out how to root my tmobile samsung exhibit 2 4g with a mac. Bueller?

I should have clarified my status with this stuff... I'm a newbie. The link you sent has several different options for rooting and I have no idea which one is which, or which one I need?
w/o kernek, custom kernel, rooted rom... I'm rather lost I'm afraid.

Hahaha, welcome. I am a newbie as well, just started about 2 weeks ago.
I read a lot, and my understanding is as following.
It does not matter what type of computer you are using.
1) download Clockworkmod recovery (cwm 6.x.x) zip file you to your computer
2) transfer the zip file to your phone's SD card using USB cable or just use SD card reader.
3) copy the zip file form your phone's SD card to phone's on board memory
4) go to stock recovery screen (hold power+vol up, let it turn off, at white samsung let go of buttons, at android picture with open box hit Menu button)
5) Select load zip from sd card
6) choose the cwm.zip where you just moved (on-board storage)
7) let it load
8) reboot
9) go back into same recover, now you have clockwork recovery
10) go and make a backup to your SD card, this is your safeguard
11) after this point, you can try various roms, peach sunshine, cm10, rebel rom, etc..
12) instructions for each is included in each rom's own topic at xda forums
13) read, read, read, there is a lot more to learn, above is a very brief guide just to get you started.

Step 1 - Install Bootcamp
Step 2 - Install Windows
Step 3 - Duh!

And I say this with all the love in the world for Mac users, since I am the proud owner of a Mac Pro 2.... THERE ARE TIMES YOU JUST NEED TO BOW BEFORE THE WINDOWS GOD!.
