Rooting an EE Hawk

Hi there, im just wondering if anyone has had any luck rooting the EE Hawk, its an Android 7.0 phone. I've tried all the apps (kingoroot etc) I've tried using superSU with no luck. I followed the instructions when you google "rooting EE hawk" (the first result) But to no avail.

There seems to be no information on this so i figured i'd ask here, any help/info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

You almost certainly can't. On devices running Android 6.0 and above, none of the one click root apps work and most devices will require a bootloader unlock or developers finding an exploit to obtain root.

Given that it's only sold on EE and therefore only available to a very minuscule percentage of people, it's highly unlikely a developer would think it's worth their time to find an exploit and release to the general public (or EE would offer an official unlock) as it would only benefit a tiny number of people.

I wouldn't hold your breath, sorry! :(

I suspect it came from a Chinese OEM like Coolpad or TCL or Haier, many carrier house brand phones do. So root is going to be impossible, and devs wouldn't be interested anyway.
