Rooting and T-Mobile connection

Nope, rooting voids your warranty is all it does. T-Mobile will not know about anything you've done to the phone as long as you don't send it back. When you call them to give you the unlock code they will only look to see if/when you had service with them and for how long.

Everything else should work without a problem.

Thanks ja for your reply. I assume then that T-Mobile will not be able to tell what changes have been made to the phone when contacting for phone number change and unlock request? I am a bit uneasy that with today's technology they might be able to point a finger and say 'gotcha!'
