Help Rooting ASUS MeMO Pad 7 K01A?

Hey all,

I have an ASUS MeMO Pad 7 K01A (ME70C) with Android lollipop. I've tried several root methods, with ADB, one click root, KingoRoot, RootZenFone, and several others... But the tablet is locked down TIGHT. Is there anything I can do?

I personally have the Memopad 8 and it is rooted but no custom ROMs and stuck on Kitkat.

I looked through that thread, couldn't find anything
I hope someone will someday make an exploit for these cheaper MeMO pads....
