Try PingPongRoot.apk or CfAutoRoot (flashed with ODIN). Maybe @Jfalls63 can chime in..?

A lot will depend on the model number and Android version. The bootloader on some models can be unlocked and a custom recovery installed

If you happen to have a US carrier variant, think you might be out of luck AFAIK.
