Rooting MOTOACTV

I'm straight new to Android and came across a post to root the MOTOACTV and was motivated to get it. It's too bad that I have no background with rooting so can anyone help me out and give me a simple breakdown of this post?

i cant post the link because im new but just google it and it's everywhere
