I have had my razr maxx now for several months and love it. Got the OTA update to ICS and have enjoyed the update. I'm running adw ex as a launcher, and have toyed around with tasker to enhance my phone. I'ver really loved messing around with the phone, but still would consider myself somewhat new to android phones. Here are my questions at this point.
1. I've really been thinking of rooting my phone, but wonder if it would be to tricky or difficult for a relatively new user like myself. I'm fair when it comes to tech related tasks, but not sure where to go for reliable, clear, and easiest way to root. My phone works great now, but there have been a few things I've encountered that require root access. Also, will my phone work faster, smoother, and more efficient with root?
2. I've read Jelly Bean OTA should be out in the first quarter this year. Opinions on update or not??
