hello everyone i asked a question yesterday about my internal memory on my phone i got told that if i root it, it should make the memory better on it but i don't know how to root my samsung galaxy ace phone can anyone help me by giving me some instructions/a video thanks :):):):):)

I have a Galaxy 5830 & I used Universal Gingerbread Root & Unroot 2.3.3 -> 2.3.7+ to root my phone successfully. Just rooting will not solve your low memory problem, I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476121 for that problem :). Of course there are other ways to solve the memory problem which others have mentioned in this forum

Sorry i haven't answered back to you i have downloaded that app and it says i have 133 apps but only 2 of them are games the rest were already on the phone once i have downloaded the app can i download as many apps as i want or do i have to do something to the apps i have on my phone to get them to be on that app :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

You forgot the kernel, you will need a custom kernel also, stock kernel cannot support init.d.
So in short, you will have to root, add a custom recovery, flash a custom kernel, partition your sd card and then you can install link2sd. :D:D

That's a pretty complicated and very long procedure. :p
So you did not have to install cf-root or any other custom kernel with link2sd?

No cf-root or any other custom kernel with link2sd :D Actually it was quite simple I wanted to put the steps in my blog but have not the time to do it. ' StoneBoyTony' had posted his method on this forum but that thread got merged with another on the same topic & got really difficult to understand. :)

I also posted on Facebook about my internal memory and someone told me to go through settings, into manage applications and delete the data on the apps epically the ones that cant be moved to the SD card I did this and it works it frees up most of the memory on your phone. I couldn't receive texts at all before, I now can with room still left I also am very very proud with my self because I NO longer have 1 app I now have 9 :) If you are having trouble with your internal memory on your phone then try this before going through any other complicated procedures I have still have lots of room after downloading all 9 apps.

P.S: These are some very good games for Samsung galaxy ace phones

1. Pou

2. Hill climb

3. parking mania

4. Flying penguin

5. Rolling ball

6. Deal or no deal

7. 4 pics plus

8. Puzzler world

9. Word search

thanks for all your help and comments I apprectiate all of the help I have been given thanks xx
:)
