I would like to know if or how I can root my smg900v 6.0.1 I have rooted the galaxy s4 I had with king root but I don't know a lot about rooting and I would like to ask for some help

No root on 6.0.1 You have to roll it back to 5.0+ then root.

I'm not sure downgrading is an option. Verizon device.....

Downgrading to a rootable build can be done and depending on the cid the bootloader can or cannot be unlocked.

In some cases on some devices they cannot be rolled back due to the anti roll back feature.
