rooting working with the set cpu

i was wondering can i burn my phone up running it to fast its a epic 4g i only have it rooted and the hot spot.. I am also new to rooting so do not no too much so any advice i would appreciate ..

Welcome to the forums. It's not impossible, but rather unlikely for that to happen, as far as I know. I've never heard or read about anyone having this problem before.
