How do I root LG Stylo 4 step by step ?

The first step is to unlock the bootloader. Unfortunately, that doesn't look too easy on some models, especially those intended for the U.S. market. There's a long discussion over on XDA about it.

LG STYLO 4 MODEL#LM Q71 0MS IS BOOTLOADER UNLOCKABLE?
That is the MetroPCS model. I've seen some references to that model being unlockable, but I can't say for certain.
Try unlocking it using the instructions here: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/lg/lg-stylo-4/faq/faq/lg-bootloader-unlock/
If that works then you're ready to root. If not ...
Just a word of warning, unlocking the bootloader will force a factory reset and WIPE ALL YOUR USER DATA from the phone. Make sure everything is backed up off the phone before you start.
