Hello!
I've been a fan of RuneScape for years... I don't play much any more, but I often think about it. So naturally, as soon as I got my new phone a couple weeks ago, I did a search in the Market for RuneScape. I was disappointed to find nothing.
Well, I took the initiative and wrote an application. It's called RuneScape Map. It's a pretty simple application; it requires no internet, so you can study the map from anywhere and use it without a data plan. You simply open it, and you have a copy of the RuneScape map which you can drag around and zoom in/out.
It is the same map image that you can find in the downloads and wallpapers section of RuneScape's site, but in portable form. You will find, if you try to view the official map in your Android browser, that it will be very blurry. My application displays the map very clearly, as can be seen in the first screenshot, and yes it does show the entire map.
Anyway, to be honest it is not as powerful as the in-game map since you cannot search or show/hide the icons, and I may update it in the future to have those features; but if you want to study the map on the go, or you don't want to go through the hassle of opening the official map on top of your screen any time you want to look at it, or even if you like the convenience of zooming around the map by swiping and pinching your fingers, I highly recommend my app!![Smile :) :)](/styles/smilies/google/smilie.png)
