Running Data off my BB Z10

Good day everyone!

I recently pick up a google nexus 7! Super happy with it. One thing I want well kind of need it to do to make it even better is be able to run GPS maps while im running my OBDLink app.

Im hoping there is a way I can pair it with my Z10 to use my data off the phone? Let me know

Thanks

If your Z10 and carrier allow tethering you can use the Z10 as a wifi hotspot if it has that feature, or bluetooth modem if it supports it, or usb tether them to get a data connection for the N7.

If you just want to pull up maps on your Nexus 7 all you need is an offline map and navigation program such as Map Factor -

In the settings you check off what free OpenStreetMaps data package you want (grouped by state) and it downloads them so you can use your Nexus 7 to navigate or view a map where you are without a data connection.

I use MapFactor all the time and there are maps packs available from pretty much everywhere in the world, useful when traveling. Living in New England I have Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island installed by default.

Give it a try.

I want to be able to use the google maps part of the OBDLink app. also monitors vehicle info. Fuel economy, engine codes, MPH, RPM, pretty much anything hahaha. I just bought a mount for this tablet to hold it on my window so I can have all this jazz running while driving.
