Running out of space again

I've had several android phones and I think the whole OS is a POS. Yet again, I'm running out of internal space and can't seem to fix it. I'm now using Anrdroid 6. Doesn't matter how many memory cards I insert and enable the os to see it, it only seems to see the small internal memory. Has anyone been able to fix this unending problem?

Maybe I'm feeding a troll, but....
...just don't buy phones that have inadequate internal storage for the apps and their data you think you might use, which from experience is usually very budget and cheapo and knock-off. There are still phones been sold that only have 8GB, and even 4GB, which is woefully inadequate for an Android smart-phone.

For your music, photos and videos and other media, store those on the SD.
