S voice turn off

How do I turn it off? Saw no option in the menu nor in the Svoice then itself(maybe skipped it)... Tired of hitting the mic while trying to text.

You can disable it altogether in Settings > Applications.

The wierd thing is I have it disabled, yet it ia still on my keyboard and can pop up if I hit the mic

You don't have it disabled,you probably have it force stopped.
The screenshot doesn't list S Voice in the disabled apps section.................

That's becuase I didn't screenshot the disabled section, but the secction with the apps in general . Trust me bro, I know these droid phones inside and out, but this one has a phone things that throw me off.. Here is your disabled screenshot for proof also, yet I can still access it on my keyboard. This is not like the other droid phones where you can disable the mic key either. It's stuck on there. Plus if it was only force stopped, it would still show up in my app manager as an installed program under "all programs"

I have it disabled & it neither shows up in my app drawer or keyboard.
The only explanation I can think of ATM is a difference in carrier devices.
I'm on T-Mobile.

I'm on Tmobile also, and now Im confused why mine is still on the keyboard and activates

Yeah,that does seem a bit odd.
When I disable an app,it doesn't show up anywhere else on the phone,just in the disabled sub-section in Applications.
I really don't know what to recommend,other than a cache partition wipe.

Yea, deff weird. It's not in my app drawer or nothing, yet shows up on the keyboard... Are you using the default keyboard also? I'll try enabling and disabling, cache wipe and restart to see what happens

Update, I figured it out haha. Went into my 'set up input methods", and turned ofd voice typing and now it's gone. Still strange how when s voice is disabled that it still showed up tho. Random

I'm glad you figured it out.
It was a learning experience for myself as well,that one woulda drove me nuts & probably woulda took longer to figure out,or,would have grown impatient & factory reset,not knowing WTH was causing the issue.
