Help s voice voice changed from female to male.

Hi,
I updated the firmware of my S3 today and the s voice changed from female to male voice. How do I change the voice back to a female voice? S voice is set to English UK. Don't know what the firmware update version number is though but can find out the version number if need be.

Where are you located? My phone has been updated a few weeks ago. I'm in the US and I use the English UK here for the accent and mine is still a female. I wonder what happened

I too would be interested in this. I received my S3 yesterday, and the s voice is male cant find any settings that allows this to be changed.

I'm in the UK. I find it strange that you cannot switch between male and female voices on s-voice.
 
Yeah that is weird. Is this jelly bean or just ics? I'm still ics and the whole time the voice has been female. However, her voice has changed three times since I bought the phone. I was never able to change it back so now I just use English UK and it is female here

My S3 is still on ICS. Its strange that the voice has changed three times when you've updated your phone. I've had a look at the settings on the phone and like you said there is no way to change it back. I suppose I'm stuck with the male voice for the meantime then.
 
Yeah it sounds like it. Mine went from normal female, to female/robot, to robot all on it's own. But after changing it to English UK it sounds like normal female to me. And actually right now I had another software update through Verizon and I checked the voice again on mine and it's still female. I've never heard of anybody having a male voice for s-voice until now.
 
Actually, you know what...it seems like a UK thing. I did a google search and it seems like people living in the UK now have a male voice =S I didn't find any solutions though

Oh right, I suppose we struck a bit unlucky here in the UK getting the male voice. It would be nice if Samsung did an upgrade for the S3 to allow you to change from a male voice to a female voice.
 
Mine changed from female to male and back to female with the jellybean upgrade. Check the voice input settings. Try changing between vlingo and google to see if there is a difference
 
English(UK)= Male
English(US)=Female
press the home botton twice and s voice will come out.
Then press menu go to setting and there is language.
