s3 bluetooth problem

Hi ppl,

Just got an s3, and I'm having a problem with BT performance. I have 2 old headsets, a proplantronics, and a jabra bt350. When paired with my old TP2, ALL audio came through the headset; handset didn't ring, custom ringtones came through the headset, and navigation directions came through the headset. With the s3, handset rings (get a generic ringtone on headset), and navigation directions are on the handset. S-voice works on the headset. What I want this thing to do is output audio the same way the headphones do, but I don't like dealing with wires! That's the POINT of BT. Any suggestions?

Thnx

I too have a bluetooth problem. With my car (Infiniti and with my motorola sliver. The connect and then they lose the connection. I reset and it connects and then I lose it again. Over and over.

Are you running any type of battery saving software? I just came over from the HTC OneX and I was having the same exact problem on that hand set. The S3 has worked everything time without fail ( 2-4 times) reconnecting every day.

I'm pretty it was HTCs aggressive task killer/battery saver features that was doing.

Also make sure you dont have any battery saving options turned on. I remembered seeing one in options.

I had this exact problem with my G37Xs and my galaxy S3. The proplem was solved by excluding all bluetooth related apps (especially NFC) so your task killers wont kill them thus disconnecting your bt from your car. Thanks burtonvdp
