Help S3 can't hold 4G signal as long as it used to

Over the last week I've noticed my phone has been reverting back to 3G a lot more often than it used to. Could it be a software issue? I've got pretty good 4G coverage here and it hasn't been a problem until now.

A reboot seems to force it back to 4G, but that's the only solution I've found so far.

Could just be your provider is having tower problems. Have you called them to see if they are having problems?

I called to see if towers were down but they aren't. I've been traveling too and have started to notice the issue popping up wherever I go. Again, a reboot does force the phone back to 4G but after enough time I'm stuck back in 3G.
