S3 on Verizon

I have a charge, I want an S3. however one concern specifically with Verizon is that they seem to not support updates. I known S3 is on Jellybean now but how has VZ been with updates? The charge was a disaster never updates now I cant use a bunch of apps. I'd rather not do that again. I really hate Verizon but the service is so good.

I'm running a custom ROM, but I believe Samsung has said the S3 should see 4.3 in a month or so. The Verizon version on the other hand.... who knows.
The development for it is fantastic though if you're willing to root. I've been running a 4.3 ROM for a week or so and it's rock solid.

If timely updates are your thing, there is a reason that there are no more VZW Nexus devices...

I just got a VZW S3. It came with 4.1.2. I had a Fascinate (VZW Galaxy S) that failed every OTA - locked up and forced a factory reset and I lost all my apps and data. So I'm kinda skittish about tapping the System Update button ....
