Help S3: On Wifi only, somtimes it loses connection to email server

I got a SGS3 with the montreal mobile service Videotron. Since I got the device and from time to time, and only with Wifi, the device gives me an error accessing the Pop or IMAP email ( I tried both settings)

I use the default S3 email App and I tried 3rd party email App same issue.

I get an error saying "unable to access server"

When this happens, I can still browse the web and I can access Gmail or Hotmail set in the default email App as well but not the Videotron Pop or Imap email

Also sometimes 3rd party apps like for example weather network app stop working when the mentioned email error happens

If I switch Wifi Off in the device, the Pop / Imap works ok with G3/H+ but back on wifi it doesn't

I tried reseting the router and cable modem but did not help

All in all, the only way to make the device connect again to IMAP/POP server (or other apps to get web data such as weather) is by restarting the device

As the issue happens from time to time it gets frustrating to always have to restart the phone to access email

Note that I contacted both my mobile service provider support as well as Samsung support and they did not have any precise clue as for the issue

Also just prior to the S3 I had an old Samsung S and it worked fine with POP/IMAP, no errors at all, I also had an HTC for a while before the S3 and it worked fine as well without interruption

Any clue about that?

I am having the same issues right now. I just came from a Razr Maxx and never had these issues. Anyone know how to fix this????
 
Mine is only working on WiFi when I am at work. When I get home it stops unless I turn WiFi off, then it will let me sync. Kind of weird. Anyone have this happening?
