S3 playback FLAC from NAS problem

I use my Samsung S3 to play my music files from my NAS (WD Mybooklive). On the NAS Twonky is installed as mediaserver. I use the apps bubbleupnp and Twonky beam to render the files. I am able to browse, select files and make a playlist.

Unfortunately I have a very annoying problem with the playlist. When playback of a file is finished the player repeats short fragments of the played file. After a while the next track is started, but sometimes playback will stop.

This problem only occurs with FLAC files: WAV and MP3 files have no problems. When I play the same FLAC files from my SD card with the same apps I don't have this problem.

I've installed new versions of firmware and restored factory settings, but this didn't help. Other upnp players have the same behaviour. I tested two other android devices and they both didn't have the playlist problem.

Can it be that the (generic) functionality that supports playback of FLAC files has problems with the playlist via upnp? How can I check the status of this functionality and can I replace this part by another?

Have you tried different music apps? I personally use Rocket Player. There is also the Google Music app as well.
